That goes a USB port. The advantages are that it is small and works very well for video. I tried three different pieces and the quality of the video input will determine what you get with it. Cons include the production quality of text on the screen and use a USB port for power. If you use large fonts and icons, a low-resolution (800x600) and a video card with quality you can read the text well enough to surf the web (but you have to use the scroll bars at low resolution) - I'm using an earlier version of 36 "Toshiba (pre-HD) I'm generally happy with my purchase. Great Little Gadget Meredith N. This converter works well. I had a little trouble connecting with my laptop. It took about one hour to figure it out. The problem was in my eyes is not the converters.
